DOWN SYNDROME

Down syndrome is caused by the presence of all or part of a third copy of chromosome 21. Features of this are delays physical growth, characteristic facial features and intellectual disability. it 
can be identified during pregnancy. Education is very important and proper care, and that has improved the quality of life. Thousands of people with Down syndrome graduate from high school and also, some manage to earn a college degree. 
Life expectancy is around 50-60 years in the developed world with adequate medical care. 
Down syndrome is the most common chromosomal abnormality in humans, occurring in about 1 in 1,000 babies born each year. 
From my point of view, I think that people with this delay can perform a life without problems if they have a good education and help.
